All great movements and organizations start with a clear vision and your software should not be any different. We help you build a realistic, semi-interactive model of the application that:
• Aligns all your stakeholders
• Validates your ideas before writing the code
• Tests user reactions
This is a coded version of your user interface, as defined in the previous prototype phase. It will be prepared with change in mind, using production worthy, tested and maintainable code. A small team of developers and designers try to deliver this in roughly 3 weeks.
Although the data are mocked up – you can experience your vision for the first time allowing you to:
• Gain early feedback from users and devices
• Avoid technical discussion until we know what your end-users need
Now that the Walking Skeleton is completed, we can look at the technology required to serve your user best.
The data that is captured or displayed in the walking skeleton will determine the technology that suits the use-case best.
This may mean that we use a variety of technology stacks, each for a specific purpose, but ideally, we stick to a single stack.
• Carefully and well-informed decisions around the technology.
• Identify specific skills (and/or training needs) required to complete the project successfully
• Addresses security, architecture, and the general approach to development
The previous 3 phases are designed to iteratively collect the true requirements of the system. Now it’s time to get to work.
In this phase we create and implement the back-end features of the system, and integrate the walking skeleton. This phase is by far most of the work and takes the widest variety of skill-sets to complete.
• Fast turn around through use of building blocks
• Fast feedback cycles
• Full insight & progress and quality
Although we deliver the product in the previous phase with at least 80% test coverage and a high maintainability index, there is always room for improvement.
In order to deliver a robust and well-groomed product we take the time to dot some I’s and cross the T’s. We do this by:
• Enabling the gated check-in to ensure quality stays high
• Extensively reviewing and addressing any technical debt when found
• Deploying with one click
The SaaS business model is effective because of your MRR, and the fact that you actually collect this. We have a customizable building block that - at the time of writing - supports two popular subscription billing services.
We have SOPs that ensure your users have the capability to onboard themselves to your software.
Lightweight Mobile-responsive UI
Most software systems require a user interface for users to interact with the system. We have rolled out our own flexible and fully customizable UI that is prepared to act with the other building blocks.
Asking Gen Z to send an email is asking Gen X to use a fax. Although this technology seems on its way out, it is still heavily relied on by most of the current workforce.
Users have high expectations from applications these days. Everything needs to work fast and near real-time.
For multi-factor authentication, KYC or other purposes, sending text messages is still a popular way of communicating with your end-user.
We have an off the shelf SPA based UI that can be customized to fit your needs. It is used to integrate all our platforms and is highly customizable through a few simple configuration options and fully integrates with our other blocks.
The laws on collecting data are getting stricter every year. As computer crime increases all around the world, security is a cross cutting concern throughout any software system.
API's are key to get a variety of platforms to integrate with each other. This could include external systems but also your mobile and/or desktop applications.
File Upload Module
Although uploading files does not seem like a difficult specification, there is an art to doing this in a way that is right, secure and scalable.
SVP Tools Library
Our codebase in the back-end uses a variety of patterns and practices that repeat throughout the various modules. The tools library contains tested and reusable features that are required in at least 1 or more building blocks.
